Was just surfing through some airline websites and spent quite a bit of time flicking through Jetblue's homepage/website and I must say, was quite impressed. I have never flown on them, and was interested to know what people's thoughts on them were-do they serve snacks that you can purchase? (there doesn't seem to be any mention of this on the site). And what is the service like?
It is certainly refreshing to see a US carrier buck the trend to offer:
1)A quality domestic service with PTVs as well as being LCC.
2)A passenger/service centred philosophy (something the majors forgot about decades ago)
3)Profitability as well.
I reckon they offer a product that is innovative, fresh and better than full-service carriers in the US.
It's a winning formula and I hope they sock it to the majors.

All of my flights on them have been great. Coach on Jetblue is better than coach on any majors I've flown.
I disagree with a previous poster. I think the ERJ-190's are going to be a huge positive for Jetblue.

I have flown jetBlue several times on their OAK-LGB flights and back. Their service is amazing, and is not overrated. Some people on the website mentioned above are just nuts!! This is taken from one of the passengers who was disgusted with the airline:
"JetBlue also advertises that you have the opportunity to watch DirecTV on your personal video screen located on the seat back in front of you. They don't mention that you only get 20 channels and most of those are sports and news. There was the Cartoon Network but Scooby-Doo is still too advanced for my daughter. I watched the progress of the flight a little while and the Travel channel for a bit."
What is he/she talking about?!?!?!? Just 20 channels? Isn't that more than any other airline. Sorry, but that should be perfectly enough for satisfying her.
This upcoming Saturday I'm flying jetBlue for my first trans-con with their airline! I'm quite excited. And I'll post a trip report after I arrive in Moscow.
Bottom line: never doubt jetBlue, once you try them, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I have never flown Jet Blue, but I have a profound respect for them. They have good ideas, such as flying only one type of aircraft, maintaining fuel-efficiency and maintenance costs. Their fleet is also very young. However, their future looks dark. I have been hearing stories that they are heading for financial difficulties. God be with them
