I was disappointed with it no pillows, no headrests, PTV's work only half the time and on the flights when it was the TV's in the isle they had terrible clarity and crappy sound, would only come in on one ear and that was crappy... and it wasn't only on my seat, a lot of people were commenting about it when we landed... I wrote a bit about it in that thread look for my post in that thread because there are a few more links from there. I also talk about which lounges are best to go to and what to do if you are on a 767-400... Also do a search and Im sure that you will find heaps of stuff, both here in Polls/Prefs and in Trip Reports, that would be the best place to go!
Although I had a bad experience, you should look forward to it and maybe you'll get lucky, I hope it is a great trip for you up front!
hope this helps!

Quoting Menachem (Thread starter): I'm flying Delta PNS-ATL-BOS and back next month in F. First time ive been up towards the front in a while, just wanted to know what to expect.
It's fine. Neither flight is especially long. You will have a comfortable seat that has reasonable pitch (nothing like Business Elite on the international airplanes, of course), preflight drinks and snacks to ATL, maybe a meal to BOS, I don't know. I would expect courteous service and an on time operation unless ATL has issues with thunderstorms.
You didn't say what aircraft or flights you will be on, but if it's an MD-88 it won't have IFE, if it's anything else it will have some form of IFE which is much better than the youngster from New Zealand would lead you to believe. (You won't be on a 767-400, so I'm not sure why he brought that up.)
Bottom line: expect courteous, professional service in a comfortable seat with limited amenities. You should have a great trip!

Just flew DL first today from IAH-ATL ( Sucked) nothing special, we got tossed a granola bar, and then ATL-SFO which was MUCH better. Great meal, great service, IFE was incredible, although one gentlemans PTV was inop. overall a great experience with delta today. I am currently sitting in SQ's first class lounge anxiously awaiting my flight to HKG. A trip report will soon follow!

Just to reply:
I was purely expressing what my experience on DL was a few months ago. I figure that with 5 flights I have the ability to make a conclusion based on a customers point of view, not a pilots. Although like I said, I truly do hope that you have a great experience with DL and that everything works out.
About the 767-400, he hadn't mentioned what planes he was flying and when i was booking my trip I had the possibility of flying the 767-400 from ATL-SLC, so I figured that there was a slight chance for him to get it and that I would mention it just in case.
For seats on the 757, non PTV, I would go with row 2 or 5 for best viewing of the monitors!
Have an enjoyable trip!

DL up front have attentive FA's I've found......def try the cocktail that is featured, they tend to be good.
No food unless more than 3.5 hrs...this is sad for F, AA does food at 90 min up front.
Another nice thing, if you get a ground delay (was once delayed in CVG for 30 min, while a stray dog patrolled the runways), the FA's will tend to serve the F cabin.
If you 're on a former SONG plane, their 757 have great on demand entertainment. However, the headphones are nothing to write home about.....if you have a pair of good ones (sony, bose, etc) bring them.
