hey all,
i'm planning a trip LAX - HNL next month and i'm down to deciding on flying on either CO or HA. here's my problem. I flew HA last month and i LOVED HA's product. so i would have no problem flying them again. Though on the other hand if i fly w/ CO i can get a free ticket on them using my OnePass miles once i complete the trip.
its been years since i flew CO to HNL and don't really remember the trip. How is their product from LAX-HNL?
what would you do? Fly on the airline that provides awsome service or go w/ the other that can get you a free ticket? It really doesn't matter to me. just want to see other peoples opinions. much mahalo in advance!

I think that CO's service is great.. so I wouldn't hesitate for a second on taking CO. What's the cost differential? If they're pretty close, I would go CO for the free ticket...

For starters, the aircraft type is essentially the same, as CO's 764 would only be longer than HA's 763. On CO, you will get to see the new 777-style interior on the 767; you have a chance on HA. CO has PTV's and HA doesn't, if that's important to you. As for food, I HA definitely has the edge, although I'm really not sure on that one.
HA will most likely have good F/A's, as will CO.
I think you should go with CO simply because you want OnePass miles.

Depending on what day of the week you leave you will either be on a 767-400 Pacific 20J/236Y or a 767-400 Atlantic 35J/200Y. I would go with CO if you want your OnePass miles.
