I don't fly Spirit, AA, UA, US, or NW for this reason.....rightly or wrongly, I feel nickled and dimed........sides, on the routes I"m on, usually end up on CO.

Can I have a mojito on this flight?

I think it's just fine when you are paying their $9 fares or whatever. At that price, please, I WANT to pay for my drink so that I don't feel like a TOTAL sleezebag ruining their revenue stream. Often times, though, I find NKs airfare to be on-par (or only a few dollars less) than their competitors out of the NYC area, and so I choose Continental, jetBlue or USAirways for my travel needs because if I am paying the same price for my flight, the least they can throw in is a free drink-- and in Continental's case, usually a nicely presented snack as well. More than anything else, though, after having flown Spirit's MD87, MD83, A321 and A319 and never experiencing a happy or polite crew member, I have no desire to go back-- if I am paying for my drink, serve it with a smile, dammit... or at least a Thank You or some acknowledgement at all!

Just my 2 cents
