The best solo I witnesed was 2 days ago,RAF Typhoon, incredible display, cheered me up on what was a miserable day, after watching an Aer Arann ATR-72 and Yak 50 its hard to comprehend the sound and speed. As for the best display team i've seen,The Red Arrows have to be the best closely followed by The Blades who were surprisingly entertaining,so what about the rest of you?who' the best?

Best I have seen was some years ago at the Wings Over Houston airshow at EFD. The Blue Angels were putting on a display and one lone F-18 snuck off behind the crowd. He came up from behind at near sonic speed, fast enough that he was keeping up with the sound of his plane. The F-18 shot overhead and scared the wits outta everyone, including myself. To this day that stands out as the greatest airshow moment I have witnessed.
I also love the so called "Heritage" flights in which WW2 era fighters fly formation with modern warbirds.

The best airshow performance I've ever seen is probably the Blue Angels (twice), but my favorite performance I've ever seen is Kent Pietsch in his Interstate Cadet.

I'd have to say Snowbirds, then the Red Arrows. I dont find that f-16/f-18 displays like the thunderbirds and blue angles can match that of the CT-114 tutor or the Hawk
