Anything with the predominately white body that seems so predominant these days. BUT - and I always get flamed for this, IMO, AA seriously needs a facelift. Come on folks, that livery is almost 40 years old. Brand recognition or not, lets see a little creativity and something fresh and new. Non-metallic would be nice too, but that also gets me flamed. Oh well. I'm ready, let me have it.

Quoting Slovacek747 (Reply 5): I agree that AA needs to update their livery. It is quite boring if you ask me.
The only thing saving AA is the chrome finish. MQ provides us with a convincing demonstration of just how atrocious that livery looks once you throw Eurowhite into the equation. Funny what some buffing can do for a bird!

Well, when I was in SXM in February of '06 I saw Dutch Antilles Express's ATR-42 several times in this livery, but without the green 'dae' on the tail, so it was an all white plane with a phone number on it. Very boring.

Quoting Tango29 (Reply 8): Hey the most boring liveries have to be Alitalia, lufthansa and Iberia i think
its time they got the designers in!
Iberia is not boring - more like tacky.
Alitalia - Its OK, in my opinion. Although I do not like this scheme on their 777's.
Lufthansa - I love it. This is my favorite color scheme on a European Carrier. It always has this "new" look that I like a lot.
Boring ones - Air France and American - yet I wouldn't change them because although boring, both are
classic and recognized world wide. The exception to this would be Iberia - I'd change their scheme in a heart beat

A more accurate way of asking is 'what era in aviation has the most boring livery'?
Most airlines today have boring liveries. I can't stand the white fuselage and painted tail look. The only airline that can get away with this look is Air France because they''ve been doing it for ever.
