I need to hear your opinion on the top 10 best airline logo (past and present). This thread will be re-posted annually for new members and when your rankings change as new airlines crop up.
Here is mine:
10. Air Florida
9. Air Hawaii - some type of plant?
8. Philippine - rising sun superimposed on the Philippine flag colors
7. Qantas - I still prefer the flying kangaroo logo with the imaginary wings circa 70's and 80's
6. Air Vietnam - the flying dragon in deep green colors
5. British Caledonian - very regal logo
4. Air Siam - white lotus on deep blue colors
3. Thai - the colors of orchids with some gold
2. Singapore - the eternal Kris bird
1. Air Lanka - nothing beats this intricately designed white peacock on deep red background. This logo design was the winner of a national contest in Sri Lanka after the country's name change from Ceylon. I can't believe they changed it to a boring logo after the name change to Sri Lankan:-(

it's too bad NWA's new livery doesn't have that creative logo incorporated. Part of it is there but otherwise, the clever N and W together isn't really there.
