Eastern?
PanAm? (the big PanAm)
PeopleExpress (what a horrendous name)
Braniff

Of course that is just my regional mentality. I hate to see any airline disappear.
It is nice to see the blue ball on the tail of the PanAm 727s down in the Caribbean but it is just not the same as when their Clippers roamed the whole planet.
Happiness is not seeing another trite Ste. Maarten photo all week long.

Oh how I'd love to bring Midway back to RDU. They had great friendly service and gave the triangle so many new destinations. I loved there c/s too. Just look.

I'd have to say Eastern. The very first flight I ever took was on Eastern when I was 5 from PIT->ATL->Orlando

Reno and Mark Air were nice. Nice planes, good cabin crews and excellent food.

Orion Airways - An English Charter carrier
The FA's were friendly (well I didn't know, I was 12 or 13 at the time) and the aircraft looked a little different to all the others, plus they took me on vacation at the time, so I always associated it with good things.
Plus they had the distinction of having the "737th" 737 built (see pic below), which I had the pleasure of flying on to Majorca once. Very cool.
