I've got about 43k Skymiles and thought I'd use them one way to BOS some time this summer. I have searched Delta's website....there are NO Skysaver seats at any time between now and at least April 2008, just SkyChoice aand it's 60k miles whether I book one way or round trip. (Not a Medallion member)

Am I missing a trick on the website? Is there a way to do this without jumping through hoops?

Thanks all.

Kelly

Not sure how it works without being a Medallion member, but atleast unlike UA you can book one way. UA doesn't allow one way or multi city with their miles.

Let me clarify this:

You CAN use UA miles for one way, but you have to pay the round-trip. Not a great deal.

You can certainly do multi city trips with UA miles, but not on domestic routes.

Delta you have to pay the round trip.

As for availability, using my Medallion availability (I'm a Silver), the next day with a SkySaver that I see is September 2. Doesn't look good for non-elites though - I don't see a single SkySaver seat to BDA for non-elites over the next year.
