No-one flies in or out of Morecambe . Get loads of trans Atlantics flying over us, and the Air Ambulance and police copters, plus the Read Arrows annually - so I'll be trying to get Morecambe's first shot in the db later this year
Search Morecambe in the db any you get BY 757 G-BYAW - named Eric Morecambe
No trees were harmed by this message. However, several million electrons were terribly inconvenienced

Well the nearest i could get was this one. I had hoped there would be a better one seeing as "Langley" is only a few miles from the flight path for 09L (lhr) and +1000 planes per day pass over my house !!!!
If you follow the railway which starts at the begin of rwy 36c into the village, a small orange block can be seen, that's the student campus for aviation students.

Hey! Hoofddorp! That's my town... Thanks for pointing out that picture "The_greq"...
Now people can see how I can reach the airport (center) in 25 mins by bike and the nearest spotting spot even in 15 mins.

My humble abode is just across the river from South St. Paul, Minnesota. Most of my general aviation flying is out of this airport, however, I took this while we were on approach to MSP. My church is a block away. I often hear sounds from heaven of the resident B-25 and T-6s in the pattern.

Looking south towards Johannesburg International, Johannesburg itself is out of the right side of the picture. Town in the foreground is Kempton Park where I lived for 18 years
After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...
