I am still getting used to the new forum setup, so if this should be in the Polls and prefs, I apologise.
I think that some airport in Georgia should be renamed after Ray Charles.
Ray Charles was a wonderful man, who faught blindness and brought wonderful music to our ears! His song "Georgia on My Mind" is the state song and state motto. He was born in Georgia as well. Plus, we named our airports after mayors...its abot time we name it after someone who truely desirves the honor.
I'm not looking for them to rename ATL...I'm thinking MCN or somewhere in the HEART of Georgia.

Scott, he was only kidding...I am just asking a question, nothing is for sure yet. I'm sure, however, that if Regan hadn't died this week, they'd be talking about naming an airport after Ray Charles on TV.
