I am flying from MDW-EWR-DUB on Continental and I am wondering what to expect on the EWR-DUB segment seeing as it is on a 757-200. I am flying economy and I am 6'2" so I was wondering about seat comfort and IFE on this long of a flight in a 757. Also, I am flying from ATH-EWR on a 767-200 and was curious about the same seeing as this is a much longer flight. Any info would be great! Thanks!

I can only give you my experience on the 757 flight. I flew LIS/EWR/LIS on July 2006 and I was a bit concerned about flying a single aisle airplane on a transatlantic flight, but I had a great ride both ways. CO service was nice, good food, good IFE, they have those small screens that come down, so you can always find a good one for you, the crew was kind and helpful and I'm also tall as you and I did managed quite well "my space". Just a small advice, be aware that you'll probably "spend" sometime inside the plane, taxiing slowly until you leave EWR. I waited around 1 hour from push-back until we actually took off...EWR can be quite buzzy in certain times. I never flew CO 762's but I know they were the last 200ER version to be built, so they're quite new, they have IFE in each seat and as far as I remember from other 767 flights I did, the configuration 2-3-2 is very, very confortable, I one flew a BA 763 from JFK to LGW and it was one of the best flights in my life, so I think in your ATH/EWR although it can be quite a long flight ( 10/11 hours? You'll find the 762 an excelent airplane for that flight. Have a great trip and don't forget to post a trip report!!!
