I know the the Boeing 757, been out of production for three years now. I also know many people look at the A321 as Airbus answer to the Boeing 757, but I wanted to have a little fun today. To me, the whole A320 family are competitor to Boeings 737 family, my design would be a true Airbus answer to the 757. My vision would be an airliner with a much stronger A320 body, that was stretch between 160 to 180 feet with a new larger wing with winglets, this would give the jet a 150 foot wing span. I would have two RR turbofans that are able to produce 48000lb of thrust, let call them Trident 400. It would have a taller landing gear than the ones found on 757 and A320. It would have a new tail that stand 44 feet high. So what do you think?
PS: It is good to have fun some with planes design.
