Hi all. Next August my family and I will be flying from DTW-FRA-BUD-VCE-FRA-DTW all on LH. We are going to be in Business Class. Question is. How good is it. I've heard that it is one of the better if not the best in the air. I know we will be flying on the A330's and A321 and A320. Any info would be great.

Thanks
Chuck

don't expect a business class ala QR, EY or CX, but you'll have a great business class experiences however, because the service and all around is simply good and professional.
the new business class seat are comfortable and great. you'll like it!

the short-haul sectors are operated by Airbus A32x equipment with new leather seats. the middle seat in business remain empty, but the seat pitch is the same as economy. it depends on the time of the day what you get in business as a meal - sometimes cold, in the evening warm, mornings a delicous breakfast.

Copy that - and add the relatively silent A333 to that and you get a very pleasant ride in C (at least I had it in April to DTW).

As said by other posters LH is reliable. Good to excellent depending on the crews on board.
I fly intercontinental C 8/10 times a year all with LH and I pretty much always enjoy it.
Catering is great from Germany and good from the US. You will have the young restauraterus of the US work on the menu ex US. It is always a star chef from Europe.
You have AVOD on the intercontinental. Programs are changed frequently and there is plenty of musical selections.
On European C the product is reliable and ok. Catering definitely not a highlight for short sectors.
Everybody is very professional and you will be very well taken care of.
Best greetings
