Never flown to PEK before and not sure who I should fly with. Also does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to
transfer from international to domestic in PEK? Thanks!!

The best non-stop option is really going to be Continental from Newark. Other non-stop options to the U.S. are American from Chicago O'Hare, which starts in March. Also, you can take United from Chicago O'Hare, San Francisco, and Washington Dulles. Also, Air China serves LAX, JFK, and San Francisco, but they are probably the worst non-stop option.
If you are east of the Mississippi River, go with Continental from Newark.
If you are west of it, use United from ORD or SFO. However, if you are between the Mississippi and the Rockies and aren't traveling until after March 2008, then take American from ORD.
