First was a DC-10-15 of SkyJet on a LGW-MAH charter in the mid 90's. Most recent was on the 29th October last year, MAS-MSP on a Northwest DC10-30. If you want a long read I've recently done a trip report for the latter

Has you can see, I've flown two different DC-10's on the same day, but this was not supposed to happen. When I booked my flights I had the option to fly direct from ORD to SEA with UA 777, or fly ORD/DEN/SEA with UA DC-10, well I've never been in a DC-10 before so I opted for the DC-10 flight ( I never told my wife and kids about this, otherwise they would "crucify" me for sure!!! ). When we were arriving at DEN, maybe 5/10 minutes before the F/A told us that we should leave the plane to be clean but we should stay in our gate area so board again our DC-10. Maybe 2 or 3 minutes latter the same F/A said that we should take all our stuff out and head to another gate. At that point I was quite surprised but I couldn't realize that we were going in a different DC-10. So when we landed and moved to our new assigned gate I realized that we were going in ANOTHER DC-10 all way to SEA and that's why I got 2 DC-10 flights instead of one. Until today I NEVER regretted taking the DC-10 option instead of the 777 one! I finally got my chance to fly UA 777 last year from AMS to IAD and LAX!

First flight: Turkish Airlines in around 1973 from AMS (SPL) to FRA. The aircraft continued on to IST, but I wanted to take the flight to FRA just to go on a DC10. There were about 5 passengers.
Last flight: I believe in the early 80s, from HNL to YVR just before Western Airlines suspended YVR-HNL service. After that, Western and Delta merged (Delta acquired Western), and the DC10s were gradually phased out.
The only thing a customer should expect for his/her loyalty is good service

My first flight on a DC-10 was when I was two years old in a flight from Barcelona to New York in an Iberia direct flight (very sad to depend now of US airlines to have direct links with the United States).
The last, if I don't remember bad, was in 1993, when my parents, my sister and I took an AOM flight from HAV to MAD with equipment change at ORY. The flight was on behalf Cubana de Aviacion.

Flight was suppossed to be from ORD-IAD. I was about seven or eight years old, and I was so excited about being able to fly on the big DC-10 "with the engine in the back". We borded, waited on the plane over two hours, and then the flight was cancelled on mechanical. Instead, the entire planefull of passengers had to be rebooked, and we went on a UA 727 about six or seven hours later. Horibble experience, but at least I can say I have "Been on a DC-10".

My first DC10 was on a NWA -30 in summer of 2000 from MSP to AMS. Since then I have been on NWA DC 10-30 about 40 times. The last time was in Oct 2006 on N225's last flight from AMS to MSP. Later that day it flew MSP to LGW and return and then sold to ATA.

My first was aboard an HA DC-10 on SEA-HNL back in February of 2001--what was likely my last was about a week later on the return leg. What will likely be my only DC-9 flights were also part of this trip on the HNL-OGG/OGG-HNL sectors.

My first and last was on Northwest Airlines flight 101 from Detroit Metro to Minneapolis, it was a DC-10-40. Interestingly enough, I took this plane on January 2, 1999 when the blizzard hit DTW and delayed/cancelled massive amounts of flights. Here is a link to the article about that day:

My first flight on a DC-10 takes me back 31 years ago September on a Western Airlines flight from HNL to LAX. I recall their inflight service as being exceptional and the food delicious.
I can't recall the exact date of my final DC-10 flight. I know it was in 02 on Hawaiian Airlines flight from LAX to HNL. Their F/C service was excellent but I do recall being bounced around due to turbulance for most of the flight. It would have probably being more comfortable riding in the "Coach" cabin over the wings with more money in my wallet.
