I will be flying BKK to SIN mid January, what are my choices. Apart from the regular carriers like SQ or TG which are ridiculously expensive, are there any other airlines that fly the route. I know there is quite a few that make a stopover in BKK on the way to SIN. Not sure which ones though. Any help will be appreciated.

I think Tiger and Jetstar fly the route. Perhaps Air Asia as well

Swiss do the route as well, with A340-300's no less. So if you were looking for something quite different...
Qantas fly the route as well, Im not too sure about BA.

If you have a look at www.amadeus.net, and type in the appropriate dates and route you will see all flights operated by carriers with fligths loaded into a GDS.

Brian.

Next flights: MAN-ORK-LHR(EI)-MAN(BD); MAN-LHR(BD)-ORK (EI); DUB-ZRH-LAX (LX) LAX-YYZ (AC) YYZ-YHZ-LHR(AC)-DUB(BD)

 checkmark

CX also has a flight via there, Swiss does the route as well and they are usually priced pretty well....there used to be more (Turkish used to, and so did Finair) but they pulled off the route.

Unfortunately SK pulled out some time ago. They turn-around in BKK now and leaves CPH-SIN to SQ.

I would say the best way to go is with LX. You can find round trips for just S$250, which can be cheaper than Tiger Airways.

Yah, you're right, I saw it in the amadeus system but turns out it was a connection in BKK to a TG or SQ flight...

Man I miss the days when we like 10 airlines on the BKK>SIN route Sad
