Hi guys!

I am flying on CRJ-200 of Skywest from FAT-LAX. Where would be the best seat to possibly see the engine?

Thanks for the reply guys!

No, that was the MD-82/83 Boston92. That was in the Tech/Ops forum.

I don't think you can see the engines on the CRJ from the cabin. They sit too far back from the last window and the windows are small and very low

The seat on the belt loader. That's my favorite seat!

Correct - it is impossible to see the engines from a -200 window. See:

Maybe part of the outer cowling - but that's it.

If there was it might have been deleted. I tried searching using keywords "crj-200" and can not find anything else.

Thank you guys. Happy Holidays!

If you're flying a CRJ from FAT to LAX, you're going to see dark. That single flight leaves at 5am. Unless you like knees under your chin, row 1, aisle. Oh, and those birds are often COLD at 5am.. Enjoy.

Yeah you are right. I did not realize that it got posted at all. I somehow remember I did but I thought it didn't get posted at all - probably because it was moved to a different forum: from civ/av to polls/prefs - I am sorry guys.

But thanks for the answers to this thread and to te other one as well.

Happy Holidays!
