I don't think you can get SkyTeam miles from RG.

What SkyTeam carriers fly to CCS? AM, CO/CM, DL, and AF/KL.... I'd pick based on which you're most likely to fly again. I think you'll get equal earnings for your ticket (150%) in all the programs. Check first though.

I am a member of DL Skymiles since my home is in ATL. I work internationally, fly exclusivly with other SkyTeam members, and credit all miles to my DL account. So just pick the member that you will fly most frequently and join that program. I think you will be pleased no matter who you choose.

I'm a member of CO's OnePass. The big perk about it is that I also have a Midwest Miles account (aka my first FF program! Big grin ), and using Amtrak's program as a middleman, you can transfer miles on a 1:1 ratio between OnePass and YX Miles in 5,000 mile increments. No lost points! What stinks is you don't get a card; just one of those print out El Cheapos  Sad

I got DL/NW/CO FF accounts at the same time, and have since abandoned all but the CO one...

CO's OnePass works great for me, allows me to book reward travel on DL and NW, and just offers far more in my opinion.

It's years that I'm a member of Alitalia MilleMiglia , and must say it is perfect ... really great I can always find reward flight when ever I want no blackout date ... not even in high peak seasons! Even if the future of Alitalia is not bright ... I would dare and subscribe MilleMiglia

Yeah world perks isn't too bad when I used it. Now I just fly for free, plain and simple. I still have my account. I thought WorldPerks earned some awards too? Or am I just talking out of my ass again...

I have OnePass and my mom has WorldPerks. Since I book and handle her WorldPerks account I have to say I like it better. The service has always been great, they have good rewards, and their site is much easier to navigate.

I'd go with WorldPerks if I were to go with a North American SkyTeam airline, but I have always wanted to see what Flying Blue was like.

I had WorldPerks first and I am mostly a fan of it. However, from what I can tell, onepass is similar, but the miles don't expire. With NW you just have to have some account activity in the past three years as far as I know so I haven't lost any out of that one though. But one nice thing about WorldPerks is that you can earn miles on all the SkyTeam airlines as well as Midwest in one program, which is nice.

The best comment IMO !

Andreas, if you will fly to the US in the near future, select CO or DL considering the best hub for you. If your business focus is Latin America, your choice is CM. If you are looking for Europe, AZ or AF.

Be in mind that the biggest advantage are complementary upgrades as well as Economy class Tickets with possible Upgrade with FF Miles.

CM = CO... CM's program is OnePass.

CO reserves the right to cancel OnePass accounts with 18 months (I think) of inactivity. They just claim they've never exercised that right.

One thing to check regarding CO. I remember looking at some fare rules and seeing specific restrictions regarding Venezuela... from a random IAH-FLL r/t: " TICKETS MAY NOT BE SOLD IN VENEZUELA.". I don't know what's up with that. No other countries are mentioned there, and I don't see it on other airlines. Perhaps email them and ask.

Yes, you do get 150% (both RDM and EQM) for D class: http://www.continental.com/web/en-US...tent/onepass/earn/continental.aspx

well its very common, for flights that are not touching Venezuela, even often for flights that are not with Venezuela origen...

Thanks to our beloved Pre..... we have a foreign control change... for the airlines very complicate to change the local bolivares to USD using the official exchange rate... using the black-market they would only get around 40% of the real value....

Thanks for all the help Analog!

Cheers
