Due to problems with the Great Firewall of China(!) I'm having trouble accessing EK website. Does anyone know how many hours in advance it is possible to check in baggage at the HKIA Airport Express in-town check-in when using Emirates? I know with CX you can check in up to a day ahead.

Thx.

My experience with non-CX is maybe four hours ahead? If they have multiple departures per day, then that might allow you to check in earlier than you'd normally.

Hope that helps!

For EK it appears that you can check in 90 minutes before departure... even though I thought it would be longer.

Well it says on the source you mentioned that you can check in anytime on the day of departure. It closes 90 minutes prior to departure but opens seemingly at 0530 that day.

Quote:
Passengers are welcome to check-in at any time up to 90 minutes before scheduled departure time on the day of travel.

Thanks guys. I can open that URL.

They have been doing some pre-Olympic upgrades to the Great Firewall recently and internet connectivity here has been, er, interesting to say the least.
