Who are the original members of Airliners.net? The first time I was on the site I was probably 15 (1999). My old username was ATA757...when I lived in Indy and ATA was a powerhouse at IND. Haha, both in the history books.
Let's see which active member has the most seniority

I joined in 1999...but I had my membership cancelled briefly in August '05...hence the August '05 listed on my account. Oh well. Not much has changed around here.

Well I didn't actually become a member on this site until June of 2007, once I got my own credit card. So technically, that's as long as I've been on here.
However, I've been going to this site since probably some time around 1999, when it was in its infancy. I used the site to look at aviation photos, I didn't start reading the forums for another year or two.
I know there are a few forum members who have been on this site since 1999 or 2000.

Quoting PlymSpotter (Reply 8): Avid browser since early 2000, finally joined up in mid 2004, so not that old.
I've been browsing the site since about the time you joined, then I finally joined circa Super Bowl XL after reading PIT post after PIT post to join in the PIT threads... and US threads... and WN threads... and... well... need I continue?
Anyway, I am still very much a newcomer. I wish I was an original tho, especially pre-9-11. THAT is a day that shall live in infamy!
Do not bring stranger girt into your room. The stranger girt is dangerous, it will hurt your life.

Been here since July 1999 and enjoyed every topic and photo i have browsed. Some have made me laugh and others cry, whilst others leave me tearing my hair out or dumbstruck in disbelief. It has never been boring, for me it is always interesting even when the same old subjects come around again. Long may she fly!
