In the end it comes down to the very F/A you encounter, but there should be not big difference.
Having compared LH vs. LX A340's in October 2007 (to LAX and back) I found the LX Business Class seat less comfortable than the LH one. I had a hard time to put the seat into a position that could support by body (192 cm and lots of kilograms) comfortably. The best position I found was slightly shy of the full sleep position ...
This actually is keeping me from using LX's A330's longhaul in Business Class as these are listed with 5 inch of seat pitch less than the 40's ...

I have flown A330s and not only the pitch is 5" less but the seats are the old ones with limited recline but in my opinion very comfortable in the cradle position, old IFE, no AVOD, but the best service I have encountered in European services: LX, LH, BA, AZ or IB (the ones I have tried so far)
It is very difficult for me to sleep on planes, no matter how flat it is, so I prefer to seat comfortably and read, watch a movie or the inflight map.
