Hi Guys
So I'm going to LCA soon, and have been looking at flights with either BA/CY, the times and prices
are both virtually identical, the only real difference is the metal. BA is on a 767 and CY on a 332.
Can anyone who works for BA tell what the onboard product is like, I know it's Euro Traveller, but is there any
seat back IFE etc, and do they serve "proper" food on this route, i.e a Hot Meal, as it's not really that short a
flight at 4.5 hours.
Likewise, anyone have any info on CY? I believe the 330 has seatback IFE, is that true?
Any Help Much Appreciated!
P.S - Not even considering EZY on a 4.5 hour flightk, and the charter times are rubbish and just as costly.

You won't get seat back IFE as its on the European configured 767, but you should get a film(s) on the overhead screens. If you do go with BA, try and get a seat towards the front as I believe the back 10 rows or so are cloth seats, whereas the front lot are leather which IMO is much more comfortable.
However, if you go with CY on the A332, yes you will have seat back PTV....you may prefer this?

I found this the case when flying the route about 2 years back. It was hard to see any IFE on the overhead screens as some didn't work or were flickering the whole time. I would go with CY as some of our party who went seemed to feel like they were flying in luxury although i enjoyed flying with BA though. Spent most of the flight talking to the crew at the back. Maybe go BA one way and CY the other if the price isn't too different.
