It really varies too much from place to place to give a weekly amount that I might spend. If I was travelling around the UK on a flying trip, then it could be £200/300 of more depending on how many flights I took, however move countries and that might only cost me £50 for the same number of flights.
To take an average per week of the entire year, I spend about £100 per week on travel alone, but this includes non vacation trips back home, and other internal travel.

My wife and I budget about $25K/year for travel and we go, in an average year, on 2 domestic and 4 international journeys each year. So over the 10 weeks that we will spend on leasure travel in 2008 we will average $2500/week. I work internationally and since my company pays the airfair for 6 R&R trips per year (to any destination in the world)....that's how we keep the cost down to an average of about $2.5K/week.

At the moment I am paying £75 for a return for my last flight out bound end of February return early March on the STN-AGP route with U2. For my next trip on the route I have paid £89.96 for outbound 22 April return 29 April which is with speedy boarding plus on both trips. I fly on Tuesdays as it tends to be the cheapest day to fly. I only fly this route as it's the most convenient way to visit my parents.
