Which would you rather, a big mega airline or a small hometown airline? A big B777 or a cozy (  boxedin  ) B717? What's your favorite big carrier and your favorite small carrier?

I prefer:

Big Airliner: A320
Small Airliner: B717
Overall: B717

Big Airline: US Airways
Small Airline: AirTran Airways
Overall:  crackup  Ummm...I like both

Quoting StarAlliance38 (Thread starter):
Big Airliner: A320
Small Airliner: B717

The 717 and A320 are not all that different. Sure an A320 is bigger, but not by that much.

I would say my favorite small airliner is the DC-9-20. There are not many of those left. It has the wing of a -30 and fuselage of a -10. If I was to have a plane in a executive configuration that would be it.

My favorite big airliner would be an L1011-500, but a A340 comes in second.

My favorite big airline is Northwest. I do not really have a favorite small airline. I will always have a soft spot for Ozark.

Big Airline: KLM - I love AMS as a connecting point.

The day that Air Nostrum starts operating A340s with leather seats and multi course meals and more drink services than you can shake a stick at in eco, then I'll be a very, very happy bunny!  cloudnine

Big Airliner: A340-300

Medium Airliner: 767-300

Small Airliner: A319

Commuter Class: Dash-8

Overall: Tie between the 763 and the 343. The 343 because its quite and smooth. The 763 for when your stuck in the back 2-3-2 seating is wonderfull!

Big Airline: Air Canada

Small Airline: (Can I pick Jazz) Pacific Coastal Airlines

Favourite: Air Canada
