One that immediately springs to mind for me is BRR - landing and departing on the beach, schedules subject to the tide. Alas, it's bloody expensive - BA (opb LOG) charge £120+ for GLA-BRR-GLA.

I would like to fly to INN (for the view) and LCY (for the steep approach)

I finally ticked FLR off my list last summer - although short-field landings in a 146 are really a non-event that a/c just takes it all in its stride. The best part was not having to get into town from PSA...

I'd love to fly around the Scottish highlands too, hopefully will get the chance soon. Other airports I'd particularly like to fly through would be St Mary's (Isles of Scilly), INN, LYR (again), GIB, FAE (again - once Atlantic airways get the A319!).

The ones I want to fly soon is THF,INN and NVK.

THF because it will be gone soon, INN because of the view and NVK because I believe that all North Norwegian airports give you a fanatstic view.  Smile

Yeah, would be good to visit INN one winter Saturday. Hmm. EZY, boring airline and aircraft but hey, fly there from LGW, BRS, LPL, MAN, presumably only during the high season for BRS, LPL, MAN. Based on last year's schedules, it would be possible to do a daytrip LGW-INN-BRS, enabling around 6 hours in INN. If it were cheap, say £50 all-in return, it'd be very tempting. Will wait to see when its winter schedules are out.

Quoting LHRBFSTrident (Reply 2):
LCY (for the steep approach)

I have flown on a F50 into LCY: The views were just great passing over Tower Bridge, but the steeper glide path hardly was felt by me.

Quoting OHLHD (Reply 4):
THF because it will be gone soon

On my to-do list before end or October 2008.

Quoting OHLHD (Reply 4):
NVK because I believe that all North Norwegian airports give you a fanatstic view.

Then end of May should be heaven for me, as I will make stops at quite a number of airports in northern Norway in the triangle marked by Kirkenes KKN, Longyearbyen LYR and BOO.

HGL with its 1312 ft (!) runway.
It is seeing scheduled service by OLT from Bremerhaven BRV, NDZ and Husum EDXJ using a BN Islander.

BOO, norway, looked pretty cool to me. It looked clearly oversized to me but probably that's why I liked it.

I'd like to go to AMS, INN, LCY, and Berlin Tempelhof because it is such a historic place.
