Not sure if this is the correct forum. If not, please move it where it's more appropriate.
There seems to be a fairly large ASU/PHX population here, so I'll ask this. I'm a student at ASU and often times when I fly home to STL on the weekends and for breaks, I use SuperShuttle van service. It is only a $7 ride from my house to Sky Harbor. The problem is, their service is sometimes less than desireable. They're either extremely early (sometimes like an hour eariler than scheduled) or they pick me up at my scheduled time, but then continue to make multiple stops and leave me somewhat crunched for time. I tried their shared-sedan service, which is a private car (Lincoln Town Car sedan or Cadillac sedan) and had better service, but it ends up being about $50 r/t.
Does anyone else have a good service they use with a decent price? I don't want a limo or anything like that, just clean, reliable (key factor) to get me to and from the airport. I'm less than 14 miles away from the airport Thanks in advance.

You could always call one of those taxi services in the phone-book even though Taxi's aren't the biggest form of transportation here. You might even have a friend drive you, or if you have your own car park it in the cheap long term parking and then take the express busses from the lots to the Terminals.

Really, your best bet would be to have a friend drop you off. Other than the bus, there really is no reliable ground transportation around here that is reasonably priced for us poor college folk.

From Downtown Tempe.... you can take Valley Metro's Red Line straight to Sky Harbor. You can either get out at Terminal 3 or 4. If you need to get to Terminal 2, you can get out at 3 and catch the green interterminal bus to 2. The big plus is it's only $1.25 each way, and you can catch it every half hour I think
The big downside is that from Mesa through Tempe, through the airport then into downtown Phoenix, that bus can be VERY crowded.... so if you have luggage, could be a problem.
