Hello...i was wondering if anyone here has had weird dreams having to do with aviation?? Last night i had a dream where a bunch of A-netters were spotting at Midway when a 747 was circling around and tried to land....at midway!! How weird is that? anyone else have any "weird" ones??
The next generation of aircraft is just around the corner!

I have had quite a few dreams where I am collecting Safety Cards on planes. In one, I discovered a bunch of really old ones at the back of a Virgin Atlantic 744. I also remember a dream where I got lost in LHR, but the funny thing was that the airport did not look at all like LHR.

Last night I had a dream that i was upgraded to first class on an A346 on Lufthansa from PHX-Denver. And then during the flight one of the flight attendents was shot by Johan (and the funny thing is I have never met Johan or even see what he has said ) and the moderator named Jaspike was there as a nurse (same thing as I have never met him/her or seen him/her). Then OZZIE who I have met cracked a hole in the window and we crashed into Tahiti (we were en route to Denver). The dream finally ended with OZZIE singing the Phantom of the Opera. It was the weirdest thing.

I often dream that I'm on a plane that's taxiing through city streets trying to find a decent place to take off from avoiding overhead cables, bridges etc. It's amazing the tight spaces the pilot on that flight seems to be able to squeeze that plane through without snapping the wings off! We always seem to take off eventually though, effortlessly weaving our way through all kinds of obstacles.
Strange but true. I'm sure a dream analyst would have a fair bit to say about that one!

Well i had this dream a few nights ago that i was on this island and there is 1 airport, but for safety the 757s (only planes to land there for some readon) fly low.well thats the boring part.the better part was that i kept walking on this stone pathway on the beach then found a huge ass group of people singing and dancing to the Fanta theme song (oh my god-the ultimate advertising space!!!!!).Thats not the good part. Some women were dancing and walking around totally naked not exactly thin, but no hair at all below the neck If i realized it was a dream i would stare longer

Lately, none. But I can remember when I was 6 or 7 years old, dreaming about being on a DC-9 and walking to the back of the plane, to the tail exit hatch and lifting the red " ┴ " handle, and entering some mysterious place, like it was a portal to another dimension. This dream would almost happen every night over a period of what seemed like months. I wasn't scared by these dreams when I was young, it was almost like I would look forward to it. Since our family traveled a lot, I was on DC-8s, DC-9s, 727s and L-1011s frequently when I was young, and I can remember eyeing DC-9 tail exit hatches suspiciously when walking to the rear of the plane to the lav!

The one that sticks out in my mind the most was in SJU. I was at the condo we used to rent (alongside Rwy 26/8) & watching what I distinctly remember was a Spirit MD-80...probably because I never saw one there when I was there (the last time I was there was before NK entered SJU) take off. The plane rotated much earlier than I had seen any other plane do there in real life, did a roll & plummeted to the ground with a huge explosion...

Ooooo, I get some wierd ones.
Once, I was in a plane and we were taxiing and I saw a gas station out the window and realized we were on a road! We were looking for a place to takeoff, my dream ended in frustration because we couldn't takeoff.
Another I had involved really wierd runways that were very long, and the plane traveled on tracks. Again, I woke up before we could ever takeoff.
Another I had involved long jetways that led to the plane. We took our seats in the back and it was really cool. This one, we actaully got off the ground. We landed and got off. We were making a connecting flight and my mom went into a gift shop when our next flight was about to leave. I woke up in frustration because she was being so slow.
The next one I had last night actually. We kinda snuck into first class, but we decided it was not worth it and tried to go back to coach and there was no seats at all. We ended up getting off the plane and it left without us.
A few notes here: when I say waking up in frustration, (you are going to think this is wierd), I mean I wake up almost yelling and punching my pillow. Scares the cat on my bed half to death.

i also have a concorde one. Well it starts out with the concorde being retired, and then i somehow get tickets on an AF flight.when i board the plane it isnt like a regular concorde-like the fact the windows were like the ones on the lear 23. theres nothing between the cabin and cockpit, and i sit near the front, and suddenly the plane starts moving backwards-FAST!then i see some little kid is leaning on the throttle.i get him off and we stop soon.then we move FORWARD real fast.apparently some old dude and his grandson were at the controls.i get them off and then the dream ends like fs2002 some reason.

Long before the A380 was announced:
I had a dream about me being one of the first one to fly on a double Decker aircraft. 6 minutes after take of all of a sudden the plane started to go through some rough turbulence. On the plane it was a fat guy smoking, a short Asian woman and Noel. All of us were sitting in the first middle row( 3-4-3). Noel was just relaxing and reading a book about military aircraft.( I expected him to get up and go fly the plane but I guess not. I wonder if he really knows how to fly one of his planes) I got up and went to the cockpit and I saw both pilots were half dead, the on board flight system had smash seeping out of it. I pushed the captain to the floor and took over the control's. I try to get to a lower altitude but the auto pilot was jammed on and I couldn't turn it off. I got up and started to look for something hard and heavy to smash the system. Fortunately I found a axe and started to hit the auto pilot system and magical I heard the auto pilot alarm go off. I started my decent to LHR (the closest airport I could find at the moment) I lower the landing gears, lower the engines to 60 Knots turn the brakes on . 2 minutes later the aircraft got to about 500 feet. ( this is were I got really scary) When I landed I heard 1 tire burst then 2 more then 3 more.( that was 6 landing gears) I was still going about 45 knots on the run way. I applied the reverse thrust and the aircraft started to slower to about 20 knots. 15 seconds later the aircraft comes to a full stop. I got up to look for Noel and he was downstairs at the "duty-free" shop.
I was very young so I had no idea how to explain this to someone
