Planning a trip to SYD on BA never done this before, told there is a 4 hour layover in BKK.
Travelling with elderly mother, 80, what do I do to kill the time.
Note here, we are travelling in First Class.

What can I expect to occupy her, should I leave the airport?
Any regulations.

If you're travelling all the way through on the BA9, and not transferring onto another flight, the layover shouldn't be anywhere near four hours. Check your reservation details.

In the event of such a lengthy layover, I would suggest waiting in the comfort of the First Class lounge.

Yes, the First Class Lounge.

It has showers for a freshen up for starters, plus a lot of food etc, so you'll be more than fine.

I do quite enjoy a spot of flying - more so when it's not in Economy!

Yes just stay at the airport.. Not enough time to go into town as it takes about 40 minutes without traffic and on a toll road.. I'll be doing it tonight again. Just hang out at the airport and do some spotting.

I take this flight a lot and the layover is usually between 1h10 and 1h30 depending on how quickly they offload and load again. They want to get away as fast as possible.

So if nothing has changed, head to the first class lounge for about 45 mins of relaxation - enjoy a few drinks, snacks etc and before you know it you can head back to the plane!
