Does anyone have a list of airlines that had audio IFE on their 727s? I don't think there were any with video IFE, however, I know there were a few that had audio. Two airlines that come to my mind include United and Continental. I know Delta did not have audio on their 727s, and I don't think AA did either. Does anyone have a full list?

If memory correct, both AC and CP Air had audio IFE on their 727-200s.

As for video IFE, the narrowbody video IFE binge didn't really start until the 757 entered service; most previous narrowbodies either had no IFE at all or only audio.

CP Air 737-200 ADV's and 733s also had video IFE. They had CRT monitors every few rows over the aisle. The last 2 monitors are visible in the following 732 photo (after CP Air had become Canadian).

My first plane ride in '78 was aboard a TWA 707, connecting to a 727. Both plane had plastic headphones...I remember listening to the Village People and songs from "Grease" while inflight!
