How much more would you be willing to pay to fly a regularly scheduled flight on an already retired aircarft?
Suppose you could fly JFK-LAX on a 707...
LHR/CDG-JFK on Concorde...
TWA 727 anyone?
ORD-DEN on a UA DC-10...
ATL-MCO on a DL L-1011 or MD-11...
DFW-ORD on an AA Fokker 100...
MSP-DTW on a NW DC-9, oh wait...
But in all seriousness, how much more would you really pay to bring back the good ole days for a flight? You pick the flight and the aircraft and list your top dollar you'd pay...
I'd pay double a current domestic fare to fly on a L-1011 as I never had the opportunity, then I'd choose a 707 or 727 my number 2 and 3. So, let's say...
SAN-STL TWA L-1011
STL-IND TWA 727
IND-DFW AA Fokker 100
DFW-SAN AA 707

Enola Gay, Spruce Goose, or the Hindenburg. I'll cash in some of the 500,000+ ff miles to get a ride.
