Seems like anetters are obsessed with getting the full can of soda on planes. I often can't drink that much that quickly, and the soda ends up getting warm. Anyone else kindly refuse the can when offered?

Yes, I have on those occasions when I'm not terribly thirsty but still want something to drink. As a F/A I usually ask my customers whether they would like the entire can of soda, and many times they do not. Just my two cents...

Never did that. On LH the cans are pretty small, only 150ml, which you can drink up easily. But only Tonic water, Sprite and Diet Coke is in these cans, all the rest is in bottles, so then you only get a glass  Wink

The only canned beverage I drink on board is beer, and they better damn well give me the whole can ... Big grin

For some reason, I don't drink pop on flights, I'll usually ask for water or juice.

I don't drink soda, I prefer my whisky with water. But if I decide to have a soft drink then yes please give me the whole tiny can.
