At terminal D, there is a lounge anyone can access for a fee. I am not sure what exactly it cost, but DFW airport has a very detailed website, and I suggest you check it out.
I am guessing you are flying AA, and as such you may have a terminal change. If you choose the use the lounge in terminal D, and you are not in Terminal D (which it is likely you wont be), you can ride the train in between the terminals w/out leaving security. Another great thing about DFW is that all of the terminals and gate areas have windows to view the runways and taxiways.

Yes, take skylink to Terminal D if you don't arrive there inbound. Newest terminal with best food, most shops, best viewing, etc. Other terminals offer less attractive choices. Have fun.
