That is my favorite. Although the newest isn't bad as well.

Not to nitpick here but livery and logo are 2 different things. All 3 UA liveries that you posted have the same tulip logo (which has been around since 1974); the newest livery still has the 2-color tulip logo along the fuselage. Although I will admit that the United titles (which could be considered part of a company logo) has changed along with the liveries.

Here's an example of an old UA livery & logo pre-tulip:

In terms of livery (the original premise of your thread), I like the '74 and current schemes about equal; the grey '93 scheme's a bit too dark.

IMHO, the new scheme would look better if there was a thin orange stripe running between the white & blue along the fuselage.

The current livery, to me, seems futuristic and is pretty.  Smile

checkmark  It seems a bit drab.

I was never big on the "pre-tulip" scheme with the blue cheatline and shield. It's not bad, the livery which followed it, however, was much more "cheerful".  Smile

Old livery

I like it on the 757, but not really on any other aircraft. The newest one isn't bad either.

I take that back. It looked good on the whole fleet, but it was the best on the 757.

I disliked the new one when it was first announced, but it has really grown on me over the past few years. I'm definitely a fan of it now.

I like the old livery the best its what I grew up with. I never did like the grey (middle one). The new one is pretty good though.

I stick with the Boeing 247  Wink

However I think the current one is really pretty, only I don't like the grey planes with a blue radome and the blue planes with a grey one..

I'm torn between the old livery and the new livery. The old livery is a classic but the new livery is very sharp and modern.

Overall I prefer the current livery.

I always liked the tail of the previous livery but would have to agree with NWOrientDC10 that overall, it was a bit drab, .

I'd like to see some sort of combination of the old , pre-74 and the "tulip"..perhaps using the cheatline of the old, and the old colors (i'm partial to reds, whites and blues) .I'd use the font of the post 74 logo, and insert a moderneized tulip on the tail.

I think using orange as a corporate color has to be done carefully..Southwest has pulled it off, but many have not been so lucky.
