Hi there
I am travelling on the 29th, EMA-LPA with Thomson and would like to know if anyone knows what type of aircraft this will be operated by and what sort of pitch I can be looking forward to (!)

I know that sometimes BY operated the 763s and 762s on the route and wondered that if they were operating with these, are they equipped with the 33" leg room?

Thanks in advance for your help

Happy -go- lucky kinda guy!

Unfortunately, it'll be a rather boring 737-800. The days of the 767-300 on short haul routes out of EMA are over.

As for seat pitch, I believe Thomsonfly offer the same as other charter carriers, however as their aircraft are fitted with new recaro seats, whereby the seat pocket is at the top, you do get that extra inch or so where the pockets would usually be.

The advertised seating at 33" is only for the long haul aircraft. i think it will be 28"! 5" is quite a lot!!

How do you actually find out what aircraft are flying and where?

I've just got back from Menorca, flew from Gatwick and the airline was First Choice, and on both flights flew on the A321, yet as we were heading out of the airport i saw a B757 and A320 landing from Gatwick. So obviously they operate a mixture of aircraft on that route but i have read on some posts here that theres a website that gives info on flights plus which aircraft was flying the route.

Oh yea and went for 2 weeks !  Big grin

Cheers
