Need Advice: CAI-ACC

I recently got accepted for a medical trip to Accra from Jan 1- Jan 18th.

I will be flying from U.S. to Cairo on miles w/ Delta but I need to reserve a ticket from CAI-ACC.

My cheapest options are:

Afriqiyah Airways
Ethiopian Airlines
Emirates

I would love to fly Emirates, but their prices are really expensive. Afriqiyah is cheap, but I have never flown them, so does anyone have any advice on Afriqiyah or Ethiopian?

Service, timing, safety, etc.?

Actually - why not fly direct CAI-ACC with MS? this would be a good chance to see how they've spruce things up now that they're a part of STAR.

Great idea! I just reserved it on MS and it was pretty cheap too...I just had to fly the day before, but it leaves around 11:50pm, so it worked out perfectly!
