You could try via
GRU instead. EK flies DXB- GRU nonstop daily and from GRU you have Avianca GRU- BOG nonstop or many other options.

You could transit through
YYZ or BCN?
Would a two-stop be a big issue for you?
EK's DXB- GRU would be an interesting flight on the 77L, however I'm sure shorter options exist.
Are you going Y or J, that'll make a difference.
I do see why you want to avoid CDG, but it might ultimately be one of the better options, given the US transit visa issue...

the best and fast way is via CDG but you can try QR to BCN or MAD and Avianca or Iberia after.
QR departs DXB 23:15 and MAD 7:10 (+1), so just some hours in MAD or BCN

if you fly AF you'll be under one roof: both DXB and BOG flights are in CDG2F
even if they change one flight to CDG2E at last moment like they do sometimes, it's just in front of F and no bus or metro to take
if you take EK QR or EY and then connect to AF that's another story....

Quoting Colombiano ( Thread starter): Whats the best flight / way to fly from Dubai to Bogota ??
Ofcourse avoiding the US its gonna take forever to get a transit visa and rather avoid Paris CDG??
Any ideas i need to go back home (Colombia) in a month
For quick connections:
Thru FRA/ CCS - LH + AV
Thru MAD - EK + AV/IB
But the best (fastest) option should be AF thru CDG.
New York + Rio de Janeiro = One of the best combinations !

BOG. 18h30 --->
CDG. 11h05 AF423 (A343 - Daily)
CDG. 13h15 ---> DXB. 22h45 AF526 (B772ER - Daily)
DXB. 01h45 ---> CDG. 06h20 AF525 (B772ER - Daily)
CDG.11h00 ---> BOG. 16h05 AF422 (A343 - Daily).
- You have more than enough time at CDG both way for your connection.
- AF/AF connections at CDG are very easy when it's Long Haul/Long Haul (I agree it can be
"sporty" sometimes when it's a Europe/Long Haul flight).
