Doing a search this question does not seem to have been asked for 6 years or so.
Who is it?
Who gives the best customer service/experience via their website.
How easy is it to make/amend/cancel a booking.
Claim mileage/spend mileage/pick a seat.

Which one seems to offer the best all round service MOST of the time?

I prefer Delta's website the majority of the time. It provides the most information, it is almost always accurate from my experiences, and they have a large amount of service and options out of RDU so they make a good choice for connections when traveling.

On the flip side, websites like Airtran and Southwest are simple, easy to use, and accurate, so they are a good choice also.

I like NW's simple and easy to use, and by far the easiest to find things. DL's website is ok, they should of centered it and I wish they would fix the problems with searching for things.

Hands down Emirates Airline website IMO. Well designed, full of information, great functionality and easy to use. I love it!

I would have to nominate www.lot.com for the eastern European side. Great website, easy to use and all of the information you need, even the bio's on their top pilots and their achievements.

Here in the US I really like the NW site; I also think the DL site has become much better with the last update.

I love CO's website. Very easy to search flights, good flight tracker, and a great flight status for when you're curious where your aircraft is coming from, which tail number, what seats are free, etc.

From Europe, I'll say LX's site it among the best. Very simple and clean in the typical Swiss way, and very easy to find what you are looking for. I just wish their route map were interactive.

If Southwest Airlines meets your travel needs, their website is fast and easy especially if you create a profile and are a Rapid Rewards member. There are no other sites that display all of your fare options and allow booking and checkin all nearly to departure time. I often book, check in, and head out the door for a last minute flight.

I must say BA and EK. Both are very easy to use, and gives you a lot on information. I especially like that you so easily can change parameters on class and dates and get this updated instantly, after you've done a price search. BA's site does this well.

What I don't like that much is CO. Looks a bit old and outdated..  duck

I think BA has a very good and easy website, you can do so much in it. change seats, request meals, refund, change travel dates, redeem miles ....etc. I'll give them 5 stars.

The easiest has to be Southwest. Stevie Wonder could find his way around that one.
NW is simple but I think DL could improve a little. Its good, but the braintrust at DL can
do better.
