Basically, who do we reckon it is?

LH, BA, Delta and Ryanair seem to get a huge number of references. As of late so do AZ, for obvious reasons.

As far as European airlines go, I'm actually willing to bet is BA, with LH in a very close second, but then I'm a bit biased there and more likely to pay attention to BA related threads!! As for North America, DL followed by UA. As for Asia, Australasia, Africa, the CIS, South America, etc, I'm not sure I could say.

Singapore Airline is always mentioned, at least in the Trip Reports forums.
I feel so inferior because I haven't flown them yet.  Sad

Well I want to say DL - but I think that's mostly due to the fact that those are mostly the only posts I read Big grin But I'm actually willing to bet that DL might be the one...especially over the past year with the whole merger. Quick question though...do we get to combine all the NW-only posts with DLs, since they merged and all?  Silly It seems only right that the most talked about airline is the largest airline in the world.

I say its Ryanair, or I just notice Ryanair related threads more often than any other airline.

Qantas get tons of mentions too, in lots of different threads.

Judging by the way the Irish can do 250 posts a week on Irish airlines, the most mentioned might well be Aer Lingus and Ryanair, even though the thread count is low  Smile

As for the airlines of the USA, I'm sure that HP/US were #1 a few years back, and DL/NW are now. Of course, UA and AA are up there too.

I'm going with Northwest, the Delta merger, and their DC-9's. It seems they get action on every board.

Well here is another question:

Which airports is most mentioned around here??

I think that in Europe LHR is the most mentioned, and in the U.S maybe the NYC airports??

ha - seems a bit of a theme might develop here, as its just occurred to me: which alliance get the most looks in?

Has to be Star really, I guess!

As for airports, LHR or LAX I reckon.

And as for airlines, I have to say that IT have been mentioned quite a bit as of late!

Off-topic, but I'll bite - DC-9 and its retirement

hmmm, I'm not sure there. I'd say it was probably more the new-gen aircraft such as the A380, 787 and A350 which are dominating discussion at the moment.

Anyway, you're clearly biased, with a username like that! haha!  Wink
