Overnight flight back to LGW and all you are offered in Club is a bacon roll and fruit, 8 hours about, what about a hot breakfast? Do BA judge that this is just a bucket and spade route?

You should get the usual breakfast setup in Club World on any flight. Consists of fruit, cereal, bacon roll, croissants and muffins with the smoothies, OJ, coffee and tea.
In First you'll get a Full English and maybe pancakes or an omelette (usually three choices)
Personally I forgo it in either class in favour of sleep or a better breakfast in the arrivals lounge, unfortunately LGW's arrivals facilities don't include this.
