Do KLM and Air France business class cabins have the same seats (longhaul)? I heard, Air France has several version of Business Class seat. What are the differences? Which one does KLM have, or a completely different one?
Which aircraft types have which seat version in the KLM fleet, in the Air France fleet? Do they KLM still re-configure old planes like the M11 and 744, or only the newer A333 and B777?

Not really different "versions". The original business class seat (the one you find in the B744) was progressively improved to make a "second" then "third" generation, the one you find in most of the B772ER and B77W.
This last generation of seats is the one chosen by KLM.

Quoting Mozart (Reply 2): Which plane type does KLM install these third generation seat on? retro-fit all planes? Or only new deliveries?
As far as I know, only the new deliveries will recieve the third generation J class seats with the fixed shell (777 and A330). All other types have been (re)configured with the older generation J class seats, which are still very new and comfortable mind you.

New, yes. Comfortable no.
KLM's seats are not only angled, but also coated with Teflon making them a pain to sleep on. Also, but I'm not sure, I believe KL puts the new seats closer together than AF.
Still I would choose KLM because they have the best crew in the world!

I don't find these 10 degree angle seats comfortable for sleep. I find them great for relax mode, however.
As to AF (in my experience) -- seat is nice if you won't be sleeping, crew ok to very good, food ok, amenity kit is a joke (I thought it was the Y kit at first), wine is excellent, style of presntation is quite nice, service is frequent, IFE depends.
I don't know about KM well enough to comment. All my long haul on AF-KM was always AF via CDG (which is another saga).
