Any idea what to do in DXB with 2 hours only available (mileage run MUC-DXB-MUC)?

And yes, I would very much prefer to stay longer  Wink

Thank for any hint!

Walk around the airport and do some duty free shopping.... I don't think you would have enough time to go and enjoy the city...

Why don't you?
If you are willing to spend a few hundred euro on a mileage run, I would think you would be able to spend 100 euro on a night there.

I agree with TurkishWings: 2 hours are too short to leave the terminal

Certainly I'd be able to spend the money for a night, but there is no time left in my calendar...

Go sit in the irish village pub near gate 16. Have a few nice pints of beer, have a smoke and watch the aircraft from the windows. Then get back on the plane and sleep all the way home  Smile

If you are looking into more milage runs for LH's M&M, have a look into the European Business Class "upgrade"-fares on the LX website. These are available also for same-day return flights (at least on weekends).
When flying into MXP, you can fly out around 1000h at your home base and return by 1830h-ish, with a stay of around 90 minutes at MXP. Will get you 8000 miles plus bonus, if applicable.

What is the benefit of this run?

Search for the EK shop and buy some aircraft models. ( That would I do but I would not fly like you Big grin )

Usually to get the missing status miles one is in need of to receive or to extend FF-status with an airline.

The miles from this trip will give me another 2 years of Senator status at Lufthansa. Apart from lounges, priorities on waiting lists and free upgrades my wife flies for 50% of the miles when we book a vacation using my miles. This is the main financial benefit (for us) - and I have fun flying around (but unfortunately no time for a reasonable stay at the destination this time).

Thanks guys. I thought it had something to do with the Senator benefits ( which I know since I work in this industry since 6 1/2 years Big grin Big grin )

Have fun!
