HI there,

I am looking for fares to New York and Continental looks the cheapest to fly in Business Class (BusinessFirst), but the flight would be operated by Virgin Atlantic! Which lounge would I use? The operating carrier Lounge (Vigin Club House Heathrow, which would be awesome) or the Continental Lounge (operated by Serisair, not that good!!!!) ???

If you were to book BF with CO operated by VS, would you be flying in VS's First or Business Class?

It would be VS' business class and you'd use the clubhouse. BUT Make sure your fare is actually business class, and not a coach fare that displays as business by mistake on continental.com. That's happened before.

What now?

Virgin does not have F-class only C, Y and M. CO and VS codeshare on most flights to LHR from NYC. I would, nonetheless, check that it does not book into Premium Economy (Y) but shouldn't. A C-fare with VS these days lies around r/t $1500.

You would use the Clubhouse at LHR. CO operates out of T4, whereas VS operates out of T3. You should also technically be eligable for the Reviavals lounge, but I would again check that before you book.
