World's Most Ugly Airplanes

We all know of the Concorde's grace, the SR-71's pure black menace and the Spitfire's overall aerodynamic gorgeousness but what about the pug-uglies?

I could post a zillion examples, I would have to include just about every HP model ever built, but I want to see those that I might have missed. The Cessna helicopter is so far ahead that it does not count; it has lapped the field.

I'll toss it the Short 330 as one of the fugliest around followed close by it's sister the 360.

Strongly disagree. I think it looks very cool indeed, high, swept wing, massive t-tail, huge great big grinning glass smile at the front - awesome.

Definitely the Shorts Skyvan. Does it actually fly, or is it an illusion?

I second the vote for the Shorts. (all of them) They look like the box the Twin Otter came in.
There was that East German jetliner called the Baade something or other. I dont even know if it went into service. Anyway, this thing looked like a seven year old tried to put together a B-52 model but only had half the parts.

The Spit isnt even the best looking WWII fighter. I think that both the P-38 and the P-51 are better looking, but all three are pretty easy on the eyes.

To me all filthy jets, screaming for a good washing, are simply the ugliest one.
Last week a saw a Thai 747-400 in Stockholm Arlanda that looked just terrible, in its old color scheme and more dark-grey-to-black than white. What a contrast to the other Thai 747-400 that I saw in Munich earlier this week, spotless and in a new color scheme!
