Next week I will be flying on CO1703 (8.30am-4.50pm) EWR from LAX on a 752 and back the following week on CO1502 (6.50pm-10.20pm) on a 738.
What kind of service can I expect on board? Will I get any meal? Does these flights usually depart/arrive on time? Will I have a PTV on the 738 (all 752s have PTVs, right?) I will be flying in Y.

You'll get meals on both flights: breakfast on LAX-EWR; dinner on LAX-EWR.
Expect a drink service with your meal, and another one later on during the flight.
757-200s have PTVs with AVOD. 737-800s have overhead monitors.

Quoting B747forever (Reply 2): Does all 738s have overhead monitors? I thought they would refit them to have PTVs with AVOD?
Most do have overhead monitors. Some of the newest ones have no IFE, as I don't believe any AVOD has been installed on the 737-800s yet.

CO is installing LiveTv in all of their 737-700, 737-800, 737-900, 737-900ERs and 757-300s. The first aircraft to receive the installation (a 737-900ER) is currently undergoing Certification and should enter service in the next couple of weeks, after that full installation will begin on the rest of the fleet. I read CO plans to have all 240 aircraft installed with the Livetv within 15-18 months.

Okay, I see. Then there wont be any PTV on the 738. Pity
