Question About BA At Terminal 3 (LHR)

Hi everyone,

I have recently booked a holiday for myself, my wife and 2 children. This time I have decided to fly with BA rather than EZY who we went with a few years ago.

I know that I will be going on a 757 and that we will be departing from Terminal 3. I have been from T3 before when I flew with MH to Australia. What I wanted to know was what are the BA facilities like in T3? We are upgrading to Club Europe on the way out, so I assume there is a lounge for us to use? Does it over look the runway like the one in T5?

How busy is BA at T3 early in the morning? Our flight BA 484 leaves at 9:20 so we are getting the coach from our hotel at about 6:30. We fly back on BA 479.

Am hoping also that there will be an A380 in the area.

From 25 February to mid-May 2009, temporary lounge arrangements will be in place at Heathrow Terminal 3.
Executive Club Gold members may use the Japan Airlines Lounge from 05:30 until 12:00 noon, and the American Airlines Admiral’s Club Lounge from 12:00 onwards.
Other lounge eligible customers may use the Japan Airlines Lounge from 05:30 until 12:00 noon, and the Servisair Lounge from 12:00 onwards

We'd like to welcome in particular our Executive Club members and those joining us from our Oneworld alliance partners.
