Reserving Seat On SQ? Ticket With VS

Hi all

I am travelling VS LHR-SYD and SIN-LHR,booked directly through VS. Obviously the latter being operated by Singapore. How do i go about reserving my seat on the SQ flight when my confirmation is with VS?

If you are flying Business Class, First Class or Singapore Airlines Suites, you can call Singapore Airlines to reserve your seat.

If you are flying Economy Class, you can check-in online at SingaporeAir.com 24 hours before your scheduled departure time.

I remember when travelling last year, I could choose the seats while making the booking already and then 24h before the flight when I checked it I just confirmed them. But then, the booking was done via SQ's website ...

Anyway, why don't you try the "Manage My Bookings" section of their website - the link is here. You seem to need given and family name as well as booking reference or e-ticket number.

I hope it works!

Sure? I had a ticket booked in Business class but through a travel agency (don't see how this would be different from booking through another carrier). I called the call center, and they quite rudely said I had to wait for the check-in online or airport check-in. Fortunantly, my travel agent managed to fix my seats later.

Hmm. It has worked for others I know (and my upcoming flights booked via bmi).

Did you called +65 6223 8888? I don't bother with the external call centre.

No, I called the Australian one, that might have been the problem.

The next time I need to reserve seats, I will try that one.

Thats such a shame as i can see myself getting a aisle seat in the middle of the cabin, but would love a window seat! Beggers cant be choosers! Thanks for the info  Smile
