There may be some trip reports in the trip reports forums, and there should be some photos in the data base, so those are good places to start your quest.
I'm sure some members will have more info on the size and history of their fleet.

Quoting Plairbus (Thread starter): And how is Aeromexicos Busines Class or Clase Premier?
Do they have good service? Any pics?
As mentioned above, AM has 4 B777s and 2 are new and normally operate GRU, MAD and/or CDG in alternate dates and they feature the new business class product. The business class is divided in 2 cabins. The 2 old B772s which are ex-RG (and also operate GRU, MAD and CDG) do not feature the new business class seats and have old seats and therefore have a much inferior product. AM was about to upgrade these 2 frames but I cannot confirm.
I travelled GRU-MEX-GRU with the new B777s and the new seats are with an angle (about 170 degrees), equivalent to the European business class of carriers such as AF, KL, LH, or IB. The crew is very good and works hard, the food is also very good but I found the portions small, while the amenity kit is excellent and the AVOD system is another good point. AM business lounge is new and very modern but can be extremely crowded late in the evening.

Hello Hardiwv!
Just updating you a bit...
AM's 4 B777s fly to GRU (7X), MAD (7X), CDG (2X), and in Asia they're flying NRT (2X) and PVG (2X). Also seen at TIJ on the leg tags for Asia.
The ex. RG's birds, not longer have an inferior product, they've recently been reconfigured and they have the same configuration as the new 777s received in 2005.
Recently too, the 3 Boeing 762ER's and the 3 Boeing 763ER's are getting new Business seats and less seats.
The first one is, XA-JBC, now wearing the SkyTEAM c/s and with a 36J + 129Y = 165 pax.

Quoting Plairbus (Reply 2): Thanks Ikramerica, but I do not need your post... I allready take a look at the tripsreport and there was nothing!
well, you might mention that you already checked the TRs.
and did you look at the photo database? because there were pics there. Ghost77 posted one, but there is another with the seats still wrapped in plastic.

I posted a trip report of flying in Y on AM's 777 a few years ago. Do a search on that or check out my website (in my profile).
Service was very good!

Yeah I've posted a trip report on my flight from TIJ to PVG.
TIJ is a dump, seriously in need of investment.
The plane was up to relevant international standards. Service was generally attentive without being in your face. Seating was on par with Korean for example but not start of the art latest generation.
Food service was pretty basic on the way out but remember you depart TIJ at 1AM or so. A light meal was fine and I was asleep before we got to Oregon and stayed so until nearly Japan.
Breakfast service was something traditionally Mexican plus an Chinese menu. Portion size was small. Service was more to the standard of the coach cabin on an international airline. The food did taste very good it just didn't look very good.

As mentioned above, the ex-RG planes have been upgraded and reconfigured.
