Hi just wondered what Airline provides the best freebies (like washbags etc)...

My best stuff was from BA First - a very comfortable pair of pyjamas and a stylish Anya Hindmarsh washbag (called the BAg - geddit?)

I presume that the usual suspects (VS, SQ, EK, BA etc) provide the best freebies - but are there any surprise ones out there?

Or are there airlines that ive out surprising or weird things?

Well, any airline that has safety cards.  Big grin

VS has nice stuff, but once you have a few, it is not as exciting. The most interesting item could be the bingo cards that CX gives out for its First Class passengers, but I could be wrong.

British Airways give you a nice amenity kit in World Traveller:

And the MyTravel kit is surprisingly nice:

Not sure if they still do, but KL used to give out little porcelain windmills, EK gave out coasters, china bowls and dishes etc and AI doled out spices, of all things!

This was all for pax and inflight.

A friend of mine owns a little travel agency. He's almost managed to outfit his entire household with freebies from airlines or hotels. Its pathetic really.

I guess the blankets or pyjamas are the most useful things you can get from an airline - although the coasters and windmill and other comedy items are probably more amusing at the time!

My daughter got a FREE Jetsgo "smiley face" pin. She loves it and still wears it on one of her sweaters.

do you know how filthy those blankets are?

For me, the best freebies are postcards, stationery pack, playing cards and inflt mag!  Smile

Most are routinely washed, and some airlines wash them after every flight.
