On the 17th, I'll be flying on AC from PDX to YYZ with a connection in YVR. I'm on AC8116 which is the first QK flight out of PDX of the day. My connection is on AC130 which leaves me with 1 hour 13 minute connection time.
Now, while I am aware that meets the minimum AC connection time, I'm wondering how realistic that time is for me to do customs, the connecting luggage transfer, then hop over to the domestic terminal. It looks like I'm one of the first flights of the morning coming into YVR from outside Canada, but I dunno.

It is a long walk but you actually don't leave the terminal just sections of it. That early in the morning Customs shouldn't be bad. There is a connecting bagage belt for you to put your bags on. You are ticketed through so they know when you are arriving. Even in a worst case scenario flights are every hour so your wait wouldn't be that bad.
